I definitely think one of my best decisions, for my business, has been to send items to a photographer! I had tried previously, but had the hardest time finding somebody who would work with me. I offered discount or free items to all of my local photographers, in exchange for photos, but I either never heard back or got a ‘maybe’. I even sold items, on Etsy, for a discounted price in exchange for photos… that I never received. I was so confused by the fact that a simple trade was so difficult. Till one day, I was looking through the Etsy forums and my teams and a ‘suggested team’ popped up, for a photographer and photo prop trade. I couldn’t believe that I had never searched for one! That is where I met Michele and she has been fantastic! I just mail her any of my items, at no cost, and she sends me back adorable photos. I was wondering if it would make much difference, in my Etsy sales, so I did a little test. Well, I just monitored views and sales with my photos and then with her photos and it made a big difference! How could it not though? Just look at this adorable little pirate!
