Hello!
My name is Amanda and I am the owner of AMK Crochet! I crochet items for the whole family, but have been focusing on newborn items lately. I branched out into writing my own crochet patterns at the beginning of this year, on Ravelry and Etsy, so I created this blog to be an additional resource. I want this blog to have everything you need to know to successfully create my patterns and any other item you choose to make! Some of the topics that I will be covering soon will include: creating a straight seam (HDC and DC hat), working in the round, working with pipsqueak yarn, finishing your projects (weaving in ends and creating a clean finish), and some time focused on altering patterns. I will also be throwing in some free patterns! Most of my posts will be stemmed from questions people ask, so please let me know if you would like to see anything!
